Basic Qualifications and Requirements

Second Class Lower Degree from a recognized University
Within the age range of 21 – 27 years
Must have completed NYSC

Other Qualifications

Candidates with an Msc/MBA in Insurance, Finance and other related courses can apply.

Application Process

Shortlisted candidates will go through the following stages:

 First level screening
At this level, all candidates’ self-awareness, communication skills and confidence level will be assessed through various channels. Candidates will also be required to provide evidence of relevant qualifications/credentials for verification.

Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The CBT is designed to test the verbal, quantitative, spatial reasoning and cognitive ability of pre-selected candidates. General knowledge of global trends, developments and insights within the financial services sector in relation to economic development will be tested.

Assessment Centre
Successful candidates from the CBT will be invited to the Assessment Centre of the recruitment process. At this level, candidates are expected to demonstrate key competencies required for a successful career in the industry.

Training School
Applicants who make it through the Assessment Centre will be enrolled in our intensive Graduate Training School programme where they will be exposed to the practical, social and technical aspects of working in the industry.

  1. Q: How long is the application process from start to finish?
    A – We aim to move candidates quickly through the application process and also keep everyone informed. The process will run for 6 weeks.
  1. Q: Is my course of study irrelevant in my application?
    A: Course of study at higher institution is irrelevant but you must meet the grade requirement stipulated. 
  1. Q: How long is the training school?
    A: The training school programme will last for 2 months.
  1. Q: Will I be paid during the duration of the training school?
    A: Yes, all Graduate Trainees will be paid an allowance during the induction programme.
  1. Q: Will I be involved in the decision about my role at the end of the training school?
    A: Qualified and experienced professionals will be tasked with the responsibility to find suitable roles for shortlisted candidates based on their strengths and performance throughout the recruitment process.
  1. Q: What is the remuneration for this role?
    A: Remuneration package is attractive with lots of opportunities for growth.
  1. Q: Can I apply if I am currently undergoing NYSC?
    A: Candidates are expected to be available for all stages of the application process. Therefore, all candidates should have completed their NYSC programme by the start of the recruitment process.
  1. Q: Will I get feedback even if my application is unsuccessful?
    A: Yes. All applicants will be informed of their status throughout the recruitment process.
